My Favorite Protein Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Okay y’all, I had to share this go-to recipe because it’s just too good not to! These protein chocolate chip banana muffins are on constant rotation in our house. They’re quick, packed with protein, and my kids seriously think they’re eating dessert. Win-win, right?

What I love about these is how versatile they are — breakfast on the go, after-school snack, or a little treat post-workout.

I use Ballerina Farms protein flour and Oikos vanilla yogurt with 20g of protein to really pack in the nutrition, and the ripe bananas give them that natural sweetness we all love. They bake up in just 15 minutes, so you can whip them up any time you're in the mood for something warm and comforting without the sugar crash.

Here’s the recipe:
👉 1½ cup protein flour
👉 ½ cup protein powder
👉 1 tsp baking soda
👉 ¾ tsp baking powder
👉 ¾ tsp salt
👉 ½ tsp cinnamon
👉 1½ cups mashed overripe bananas (3-4 bananas)
👉 ½ cup yogurt (I use Oikos vanilla 20g protein)
👉 ½ cup pure maple syrup
👉 ⅓ cup avocado oil
👉 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
👉 1 cup dark chocolate chips

To make them:
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Mash the bananas, stir in all the wet ingredients, then mix in the dry. Spoon into greased muffin tins (or use liners if that’s your vibe), and bake for about 15 minutes — just until a toothpick comes out clean.

They’re little bites of protein-packed heaven and I hope you love them as much as we do!

xx,
Kristen
